The Department of General Surgery and Urology offers the following services-
Urology Services: Nepal Indo Hospital offers complete range of Urology services. We operate Endourology Department which includes Laser Prostate Surgery (HOLEP), Laser and Pneumatic Lithotripsy, Extracorporeal shockwave Lithotripsy (ESWL), various Uro-Oncology Procedures e.g.: Radical Prostatectomy, Total Cystectomy and Radical Nephrectomy, Paediatric Urology Urethroplasty and early endoscopic realignment of ruptured urethra.
Laparoscopic Services: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, are performed under general anesthesia in our modern day operation theater. We are the first one to provide and perform laparoscopic appendectomy for its patient without any operation theater charges. Laparoscopic nephrectomy and diagnostic peritoneoscopy are some of the specialty areas at Nepal Indo Hospital where again we initiate to introduce such procedures.
